Project Overview

Sugar was conceived with a vision to provide a full-blown nutrient breakdown of every food, coupled with an intellectual thought of setting nutritional preferences in the daily intake as per one’s current dietary wishes.

Our team diligently worked to develop an IOS/Android mobile app with a comprehensive yet eye catching interface assisting end-users to drive their “Hunger-Wagon” to “Satisfaction” station.

Ensuring a hassle free experience for the user, when stuck with such multitudes of dietary options required a complementing and well designed front interface that could reflect information in a well-tailored and efficient manner. The collective knowledge and skilled experience of our Design-Leads and Back End Developers carried the weight of this challenge to success.

Users are free to choose between social sign ups from the likes of Google+/Gmail or by feeding in their emails and passwords.

To get new users acquainted and comfortable with the app and its features, a tutorial screen will effectively provide a well guided and comprehensive tour.

Autocomplete feature is implemented to facilitate and accelerate the search process by providing possible search terms when the user starts to input a query.

To help user fetch the most resonant results, Advanced Search will provide vast number of “Predictive” results, which can be customized further by applying filters.

In order to provide humongous amounts of choices in dietary products, we efficaciously leveraged a Nutrition API and further customized and organized with proper segmentation.
